PSP Games

These are the games i have completed on my Sony PSP: -

1. God of War (awesomely rocking game)
2. Disgaea : Afternoon of Darkness
3. Medal of Honour : Heroes 2 (80%) completed

Disgaea has multiple endings that has to be done before the end of the main storyline. so I've kept a save game at the last stage, so I can try all the other endings, all the Item worlds, all the alternate worlds. My Gf has played her main character to 200+ levels. I am just a lowly level 101. But that will be side projects, play when have time.

There are so many more games to play, Crisis Core, Monster Hunter, Jeanna D'arc, Diablo (yeah, you read right, diablo 1 hahah) I'm in the midst of unlocking all the bleach characters now. almost done. I think I have like 5 more unrevealed characters. but getting all to level 20? nevermind.

Please do not be mislead to think I have tonnes of time. I play only 15 minutes - 30 minutes period or when I have rare breaks. They don't come often. It helps that the PSP is so postable and booting is so fast that I can squeeze in a short level or kill a couple of monsters here and there.

Anyone has any games to recommend me please do let me know. I'll check the game out ... when I have the time. I mean, IF I have the time.

where oh shall I find support. I fight alone.

With the carnival just over, I had a day off to breathe and rest. while awaiting water world which is about 2 weeks away, I thought I can rest and refresh then I remembered Christmas. I was also reminded of Boy's camp and the amount of work to be done the following year. suddenly I don't feel so rested anymore.

Anyways, just venting that I am tired, but I am sure God has a way to refresh and reinvigorate his people. Lord I trust you, but at this moment, somehow, sometimes, it feels like I am fighting this battle alone. Lord give me rest...

My new Job - Medical Representative

Hey guys, its been a long while. Too many things have happened. I think the last I left you guys were right before my youth camp which was a blast. Too many photos, too many happenings that it deserves its own post.

So now lets talk about my new job. I have resigned from my previous company of selling carpets and have moved on to the wonderful world of drug pushing, legally. I am now with pharmalink and they act as a sales force outsourcing unit for Principal companies who do not want to take of matured drugs or so to speak. I am under the Principal MSD.

Work is tough as there are so many new medical terms and facts that i have to study up. So many medical cures and side effects to memorize as I will be seeing doctors. Doctors... ahhh ... The wonderful people who heal you and make sure you get well is also my number headache at this moment. Its so tough to get to see them, but that is probably because I am new and that they do not know me yet. But it should be a matter of time before I am well known among the medical line.

That's it for now. oh, and reporting is tough as their SOP is so strict and meticulous. trying to cope.

Chatter chatter.

Fishachickatarian

Today I had lunch with a very good old buddy of mine. We went through a lot together. A lot of emotional issues (hint:sisters), crossroads (what to study?) and much much more. We grew closer on the couch we all try to steal home every once in a while. We have officially classed that couch the best couch in the world. Non has been able to remove that title thus far

Ok, sentimental, nostalgic reminiscenes will have to take a back seat. I will blog about her some other time. Today, I wanna talk about a new word I learnt. It called a Fishachickatarian. For those of you out there with a faster mind, you would already know what it means. For everyone else, it means a person who is a vegetarian but eats fish and chicken meat as well.

Its a cool name if you said it fast enough. Try it.

While I was pondering the name fishachickatarian, I was wandering if any other combination would sound as good. Lets give it a try: -

1. beefatarian
2. porkatarian
3. fishatarian
4. chickatarian
5. lambatarian
6. beefaporkatarian
7. fishaporkatarian

finally, I realised there were too many combinations to post. So I gave up after 8. I am also glad that there is no such name for us who ate everything. If not, it would look something like,

vegefishachickabeefaporkalambavealameatatarian...

The 5th Dawn of WAR!!!

And so the war rises with the release of the 5th edition rule book for Warhammer 40k. There are so many changes to the way the game works (rumours until the actual book comes out) and all I can say is, BYE BYE RENDING!!!

I also love the way the new plasma cannons will work. And scoring unit are only troops and counts as scoring as long as you have at least 1 man still there. So much fun for Chaos!!!(20 men plague marines anyone??)

Anyways, I am truly looking forward to how it will all turn out. Force weapons now causes instant death so my Daemon Prince is now even better.

The new running and force march rules will also be great for my x2 DCCW dreadies. Getting into combat is all it needs to do and Whack!! Smack!! Smash!!!. woohooo!!! I will post new pictures of my dreadies soon. I've made the arms for the extra DCCW and man do they look mean (those who've seen it coined them now the gangsterNaughts!!! hahaha)

Enjoy the video

What D&D Character Am I???

I Am A: Lawful Good Human Monk(3rd Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength-13
Dexterity-16
Constitution-11
Intelligence-13
Wisdom-15
Charisma-13

Alignment:
Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment because it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Monks are versatile warriors skilled at fighting without weapons or armor. Good-aligned monks serve as protectors of the people, while evil monks make ideal spies and assassins. Though they don't cast spells, monks channel a subtle energy, called ki. This energy allows them to perform amazing feats, such as healing themselves, catching arrows in flight, and dodging blows with lightning speed. Their mundane and ki-based abilities grow with experience, granting them more power over themselves and their environment. Monks suffer unique penalties to their abilities if they wear armor, as doing so violates their rigid oath. A monk wearing armor loses their Wisdom and level based armor class bonuses, their movement speed, and their additional unarmed attacks per round.

Eating at BBQ plaza

I've seen the advert so many times. They have interestingly interesting advertisments. But I have never thought to eat there. Somehow the adverts were just funny but doesn't really draw me to consider. So anyways, after rock climbing and feeling famished, we were walking and couldn't decide on a place to eat, we walked around and saw the advert. So we decided to try it out.

As we reached there, it looked interesting enough. There was a delicious aromatic smell in the air. So we sat down and ordered a mixed supreme set. It had pork, beef, chicken, bacon, prawns, squid, and vege. decent price at RM31.90.

Its actually a thailand BBQ + steamboat kinda thing. Where Korean style the soup is in the middle and the BBQ part is on the outer ring, this one has the BBQ part in the middle and the steam boat soup at the outer ring. You start with a stick of lard to oil up the pan then you start cooking. I wish I took pictures. It was absolutely delicious especially the prawns and the beef and pork. We took our time to eat. We ordered a extra side dish of bacons. That was delicious as well.

All in all, it was a great place to eat, reasonable price and really filling. By the time we were done, we were really stuffed. nice place.

Yummy yummy. sizzle sizzle.

Rock Climbing with Yvonne at Camp 5

It was a Sunday afternoon and a rare one because we have nothing to do. No meetings, no presidium, no practises, no nothing. It was a free Sunday. Woohoo!!!

Anyways, we had lunch. Wonderful food. Really good but I will blog about that some other day. So we were deciding what to do and where to go and Yvonne was like "lets go Rock Climbing". I was like doubtful at first because I am not light. And vertical challenges are always tough for me as gravity is against me. But I agreed and looked forward to it because although it was something tough for me, I have always wanted to scale up a wall.

And so we booked a started course and then we arrive at camp 5. We got our stuff and then as we tried the first practice boulder, it was ok. yeah, not much problem. Immediately after that, we moved on to the auto billet (I really do not know if that is the correct spelling or not). it was a 12 meter wall. I looked up and I was terrified. It looked impossible. It looked unachieveable. And before I could go on about how scary it was, I saw 2 kids go. they reached the top in like no time. Then Yvonne started climbing. On the tough line. So, after being challenged ego-ly I stepped up to the middle line, took a deep breath and expecting to fall of the wall as soon as I climbed one step, I climbed.

And miraculously, I was climbing. I moved up. Rock after rock. Panel after panel. Resting more often then everyone around there, I took my time to find good footholds and good rocks to grab on to. As I was climbing I slowed down in the middle and someone on my right was passing by. I looked over, and saw Yvonne. She was climbing like it was walking. she passed me by as I was slowing down due to excess weight and insuffficient strength in my arms. She reached the top, went down and cheered me on. I reach the last panel but couldn't climbed pass it. I had to either climb left then up then right or swerve right (which is an easier path) then go up then left again. but the path to the rigth was difficult and I couldn't find a good foothold. All that were around me were those that require you to grab on to a roundish rock or those that require you to hang by 2 fingers. After contemplating, hanging, and being cheered on, my hands started losing strength, started giving way, started waning and I let go and came down. slightly dissappointed that I was so close yet did not reach. I will conquer you one day.

And after tha climb (because its my first time) the rest of the climbs were tough because my hands were already straining. but we continued climbing for about an hour (with lots of breaks in between). We did a few easier climbs which I managed to touch ceiling. It was a good experience and Yvonne and I are planning to do the Basic Wall Course so that after that, we can just pay the gym fees and go in and climb.

Climbing Rocks. I mean, like it rocks. so yeah, Climbing rocks. not stating what I am climbing but that the action of climbing rocks. (Lame Ernest, lame)

The Demented Twins

Following up on my introduction to my army list, the next entry is my fun-nest piece to play, my pair of dreadnaughts.

I have selected their names very very carefully and appropriately because of the way they function (more on that later). I have named one 'The Tortured" and the second one "The Tormented".
The reason I call them that is because unlike the Imperium's Dreadnaughts, who encases the souls of willing soldiers that are passionate and zealous to fight for their army, hence being stripped of their body and strapped into a dreadnaught for millenias is actually an honour, the chaos dreadnaughts are marines put into these machines against their will. They view it as a form of eternal punishment, forever to be enslaved in a titanium casing, never to feel the kick of a bolter or the thrill of a chainaxe ever again. And so, every once in a while, they go crazy. Sometimes a firefrenzy to shoot everything in sight, even their own people. Sometimes so bloodlusted and raged that they will charge the nearest enemy just to try to pulverize them even when staying back and shooting is the best choice.

And hence if you roll a 1, you fire frenzy and shoot the nearest unit (your own counts as well) twice. if you roll a 6, it blood rages and charges the nearest enemy, cannot shoot, gains fleet then assults that enemy. I like playing with the dreadnaughts because they are cheap (115 pts with plasma cannon) and i usually line them up next to my Land Raider so that incase they all crazy on me, their S7 cannons will do nothing to my AV14 Land Raider.

However, I am now modding them to have 2 DCCW (Dreadnaught Close Combat Weapons) as I don't have to worry about shooting my own men (twin linked bolters are not as scary as double shooting a plasma cannon) and dreadnaughts are truly better at close quaters fighting. So an extra arm confers an extra S10 armour ignoring attack. Bye Bye Carnifex and Land Raiders.

Have a look at my 2 Dreadnaughts. The terrain for the Tortured is uncoloured and un-fixed to the base yet. soon.

This is the Tortured

This is the Tormented

Don't Miss Out!!!

Hey guys,

My Church is having a youth camp soon. It has been dubbed 'The BigGER camp" aptly because we really have outdone ourselves this year. Last year was the BIG camp and it was indeed big. We thought "that's it la, that's the peak, we won't be able to out do ourselves this time". But lo and behold, God proved us wrong again and gave us our camp site this year Eagle Ranch Resort.

Its only RM120 for student and RM135 for working adults. What will you get for that price? 5 days and 4 nights in a resort by the beach with full facilities, swimming pool, volleyball court, hall, field, futsal court, basketball court and options to play (cause have to pay for these) paintball, go kart, obstacle race and many more. Insanely cheap right. Our camps are not to be missed. If you wanna find out how to go, email me at ernestwch@gmail.com.

Also, check out the advertisement comic strip my girlfriend did. She's an awesome comic artist la. so proud of you yvonne.

And another one.

Suzy Corner

Last Saturday was my ol good buddy's birthday dinner. His name is Barry Lee. But this post is not on him. He may make it to the Feature panel one day.

Anyway, Suzy Corner, a normal looking (tad bit mamakish or rundown actually) place that serves mainly western food. At first glance you would not even consider to order the hefty prices it lists down for its meals. At RM 30 for a sizzling tenderloin, it is really a huge risk looking at how the establishment looks like

However, this was not our first visit here and it was not the first time tasting the food. So to us who've came, RM30 is well worth it. please forgive the utterly unclear picture (it was taken at too close a range with my 2.0 mp phone camera).

As you can see, the portion is just thick. The meat inside is incredibly juicy and tender. As you chew into it, the juices just flows out and the succulent taste of the meat fills your mouth cavity. it may look small (because its rounded but thick) but you will really be satisfied. Just remember to always order medium when they ask you how you want it done.

as a note, all of their steak items are good, all their sauces are good too but stay with the steaks. their chicken, fish and other stuff are quite normal. Very rare to find steaks done so deliciously well. Even places like TGIF and Chillies don't have steaks as good as this one.

Suzy Corner is located near Brothers at the jalan ampang intersection near Ampang Point.

Vindicated

Vindicate (Vin di keit) - according to the oxford concise dictionary I have on my phone

1. clear of blame or suspicion
2. show to be right or justified

I only found out the meaning of this word last night during cell group. In context used when everything required to be done is done, and yet the person does not want to listen, believe change or turn around, you who have done what is necesarry is vindicated.

the following is a song by Dashboard Confessionals entitled Vindicated.

Dashboard Confessionals - Vindicated

Hope dangles on a string
Like slow spinning redemption
Winding in and winding out
The shine of it has caught my eye

And roped me in
So, mesmerizing, and so hypnotizing,
I am captivated, I am

Vindicated
I am selfish
I am wrong
I am right
I swear I'm right
Swear I knew it all along
And I am flawed, but I am cleaning up so well
I am seeing in me now the things you swore you saw yourself

So clear
Like the diamond in your ring
Cut to mirror your intention
Oversized and overwhelmed
The shine of which has caught my eye
And rendered me
So isolated,and so motivated
I am certain now that I am

Vindicated
I am selfish
I am wrong
I am right
I swear I'm right
Swear I knew it all along
And I am flawed, but I am cleaning up so well
I am seeing in me now the things you swore you saw yourself

So turn
up the corners of your lips
Part them and feel my finger tips
Trace the moment fall forever

Defense is paper thin
Just one touch and I'll be in
Too deep now to ever swim against the current
So let me slip away
So let me slip away
So let me slip away
So let me slip against the current
So let me slip away
So let me slip away
So let me slip away
So let me slip away

Vindicated
I am selfish
I am wrong
I am right
I swear I'm right
Swear I knew it all along
And I am flawed, but I am cleaning up so well
I am seeing in me now the things you swore you saw yourself

Slight hope
dangles on a string
Like slow spinning redemption...

The song actually speaks about this guys love for another girl and knowing that if he even considers this love, he will be swept beyond hope of recovering from it. Yet he feels vindicated that he has done everything necesarry and thus does not regret anything he has done.

I just wanna slip away....

A lesson on Evaporation

Imagine a kettle filled up to about 2/3 full. Place it over a fire. seal all possible holes that will allow steam to escape from. Now under ordinary observation, nothing happens the first few minutes. Heck, nothing happens for about half an hour or so. Wait, stay with me ... touch roughly about 40 - 45 minutes (depending on how much water there actually is) you start to see little bubbles forming at the bottom of the kettle. Innocent and unattractive. Then you start noticing them squirm about then they leave the bottom and float to the top. Watch a little closer and you will notice more of these little bubbles start to form. Soon the whole kettle is bubbling with these little bubbles and you are now witnessing the process of evaporation. The heat causes the water to vibrate at such a rate (and heat helps to) that it loses its molecular bonds as water H2O and is releases into the air as broken molecules of H and O. As the air around the water is filled with the evaporated water, the area in which it fills expands. But wait, the kettle is sealed and there is not place for the air to expand.

Ladies and gentlemen the process you are now witnessing is called pressure. Pressure builds up within the confines of the kettle and finds no release. As more and more evaporated water is released into this confined area, the pressure builds up. If you would continue to leave the kettle over the fire, it will reach a point in which the pressure caused by the expanding air and evaporation will supercede the integrity of the kettle and what insues is ...

Pop Goes the Weasel...

Man I need to get away from everything for a while...

Daemon Prince

And so starts the introduction of my army list. First up is the HQ unit which is my Daemon Prince. Blessed by the chaos Gods with powers beyond imagination, the once powerful Lord is now manifested into a gigantic beast of fearsome powers. Drawing upon the blessings of the Warp, the Daemon Prince can is nigh indestructable.

I usually play my Daemon prince with the Mark of Tzeentch, giving it a better invulnerable save and also the option to use 2 psychic spells a turn. not to mention being able to take an extra psychic spell. He is usually packed with Winds of Chaos and also Doombolt. Wings give it that extra bit of mobility to carry its monstrous creatureness around to layeth the smacketh.

I have read that taking the mark of Nurgle makes the Daemon Prince even tougher. Bringing its toughness to 6. it will take forever to even wound the prince.

I took my time painting this unit. over a span of a few weeks. Even the picture posted right now is not the final work. will post up soon. I still need to highlight certain areas but the the Daemon Prince as it is now (not the one in the picture) looks awesome and truly a blast to field on the table. until next time.
Edited : updated the picture. Its a clearer more recent one of the model.

Warhammering is in my blood!!!

gosh that sounded corny and overused.

I play warhammer 40K. There is but a niche collection of people who plays this game as well in malaysia. Its an expensive, tedious, time consuming, brain wrecking, codex memorising, FAQ arguing game but heck, we love it. People I know who plays are, David Lian, Dillon Wong, Louis Png, Ong and Peter. A few more people who are not so close are like shazli, and Richard, and Raymond who reside in Mid Valley's Comic's Mart.

I play Chaos. I have always liked playing the evil side, the utter abomination and bane of the world and universe. Lets me let out some stuff I can never do in real life. I've roleplayed an chaotic evil Cleric of Thalos (D&D), a blood thirsty warpriest, played mainly black in Magic the Gathering and almost all games that allow you to choose a side, I'd choose the evil one.

And so in the world of Warhammer, Chaos Space Marines were all space marines who betrayed the emperor and went their own ways (its a lot more interesting and complicated then that but I don't have the fluff right, so I'll prolly post about it when I do). They worship the Chaos Gods which are Nurgle, Tzeentch, Slannesh and Khorne.

I am playing Black Legion. Basically the first group of Chaos Space Marines who worships Chaos in its entirety and not any one specific Gods but all of them. Allows me a more flexible play style.
My army seems to be going quite mechanized although the strength for Chaos is in its units. My play style is quite the elitist units. However, any mistake and it really screws me over. So am trying to play a decently balanced list with so many expandable units, you wouldn't know which to take down.

ok, until here shall I post today. I will throw in some pictures when I get some decent ones taken. the ones I have now are all blurry cause they were taken with my 2.0mp phone camera.

that's all folks

Chitter, chatter, chitter, chatter....

Everyone has one!!!

This would be my first blog. no, actually it is not. this is officially my 3rd blog. the first 3 just didn't make it through. going to attempt one more time. maybe if i find enough things to talk about then this blog will survive. I've made a note on sucessful blogs (or at least blogs with a decent amount of loyal readers) and they have a few things in common.

1. lots of pictures.
2. lots of pictures of people doing funny/stupid/sexy things.
3. videos.
4. things people can relate to
5. ermm ... i can't think of anymore.

i will now try this recipe for success of a blogger. Maybe if i get endorsed by Kenny Sia, my blog will suddenly become famous.

"Everyone please go read Ernest's Blog" commands Kenny.

that's all for the first post. I'm going to go sit in the corner to think of things to write about.
